Ishii-san is one of WHCS's and CSI's most dedicated sponsors, and a strong supporter of our programs. Japan Trolling Club is the main sponsor, with seven members who visit Kona yearly for the Hawaiian International Billfish Tournament. In 1997, Mr. Ishii, President, and Ms. Suzuki, former President, gave us a wonderful donation which made it possible for three students from West Hawaii to attend the first Crime Stoppers International Students Training Conference in Kelowna, British Columbia. The Japan Game Fish Association was formed in 1978 and has 3,500-plus members. They sponsor two major tournaments in Japan: a light tackle and the Japan International Billfish Tournament.

Kiyoshi Okuaki

Mr. Kiyoshi Okuaki, from the Kawasaki-Chuo Rotary Club of Japan, is a strong supporter of West Hawaii Crime Stoppers. He visits Kona about three times a year and donates to our funds and buys many items yearly at the Silent Auction held in conjunction with the Telethon every July, and also donates to Crime Stoppers International.
